"Max pricing for minimal plate. Had the Halibut and it was dry/overcooked, like had been sitting in the warming oven cooked ahead of time. Service was an adequate attempt but missed basics like dinner ware and checking back after the runner brought entrees, filling water carafe. Exceptional pricing should match exceptional service and quality. Unfortunately it didn’t here."

"We enjoyed the meal and ambience. They were slammed with the Valentine's weekend, a Wild hockey game and Ordway event. All hands were busy trying to keep up with the food and drinks. It took a little longer because of the aforementioned. I will continue to visit. Yum"

"Handsome Hog has an amazing brunch menu! Everything we ordered was delicious with well balanced flavors. My friend had their Handsome Hog Hot Brown which was absolutely fantastic! The house ham was juicy and incredibly tender, the pecan bacon had aperfect balance of pecan and bacon flavor, the mornay sauce was rich and creamy, marinated tomatoes came on the side along witha cup of mixed greens, and the Gouda and the sunny side egg crowned the open faced dish with the egg having the most perfect runI've ever seen. I had the BBQ chopped salad which was exactly what I was looking for in a salad. Of course I ordered their BaconOld Fashioned with a fancy ice cube that had a hog image in it and my friend ordered their Bloody Mary which came with a properbeer chaser which was again perfect; not too spicy, but definitely not mild. And the final drink that we ordered was a pineappledrink that was just as refreshing as it looked. Our server Amanda was excellent we never felt rushed, overlooked, nor was sheoverly attentive. Handsome Hog is a favorite brunch spot and I can't wait until they open their patio... it's one of the best intown! Five stars for their amazingly delicious food and five stars for our server Amanda."

"I ordered my food online and waited over 40 minutes (as indicated by their website) to go pick it up. When I got there about 5 minutes after my wait time indicated, I was informed that my food still was not ready and that I had to wait an additional 5 minutes. After waiting about an hour for two dishes (when it was very evident the restaurant inside was not busy at all), I got home and learned that the well-done burger I ordered was basically inedible because most of it was still the texture of ground beef (photo attached). Overall, I am incredibly disappointed because I was really looking forward to trying this place. However, this experience left me ready to never go back."

"Nico’s is our favorite neighborhood spot! An amazing margarita menu, warm fresh tortilla chips, awesome array of house-made salsas, great desserts (especially love the tres leches), some of the biggest best quesadillas I’ve ever had (try ordering one with the mixed mushrooms, it’s UNBELIEVABLY umami), and friendly staff plus a truly lovely outdoor patio where dogs are welcome?!? Oh and very reasonable prices, too? What’s not to love?? We’ve brought visiting relatives to Nico’s a couple of times and EVERYONE has left more than satisfied!"
