"My husband loves the tandoori mix grill and personally not loving spicy food Sukhi makes me a beautiful Butter chicken mild but so tasty its one of the Best in Darwen I have ever Tasted. I miss the fact you no longer have the Restaurant."

"We went for a family meal to the Rose and Crown. I had never been before so did not know what to expect. The waitresses were very nice and really helpful. However the pub was quite cold and still had that old smokey/beer smell. We...ordered and some food was sent to our table almost immediately. It was what we ordered. My 22 month old started eating as it was given to him and it was what we ordered for him. However turns out it wasn't ours and was sent to our table by mistake. Instead of apologising and making a new dish for the other table the waitress took the half eaten dish from my toddler. I can only assume to give to the other table... half eaten. Leaving my toddler confused and moody. When our food came it was really nice. I changed my mind about a dish from the tapas menu once it came and they were very accommodating for me which was nice. We did enjoy the food and the dishes I had from the tapas menu were really tasty. All in all it was a nice experience and we had a good time."

"I went in at 11.50, they were about to close, I wanted fish n chips, it was actually for my dad, who was in hospital and was craving fish n chips. Even tho there was 1 fish already made, Umar made a fresh one, he also didnt charge me. Got the fish n chips bk to dad who loved the food, Dads not eaten in 2 days as he has gone off food yet he managed to eat most of that lovely fish. Jzk Umar, food from the heart."

"Stayed in Blackburn a few days and ate here most nights. Although the place itself leaves a lot to be desired, my husband said his mixed grill, on two occasions, was the best he’d ever had in a Wetherspoons. Even the jacket potato with tuna and cheese on a lunchtime was delicious. So congratulations to the chef!"
