"A bit out the way but close to the city Ebensee. Yeas you can walk there. The food is outstanding and it won't cost an arm and a leg. They have large barrels of beer so you get it fresh and with excellent taste. The menu is simple with only a little more than a dozen meal items but you will find each item specially prepared and you can ask for changes which they were willing to do for us. I had the Schweitzer braten and added a klausen with gravy and it was fantastic. They have a small salad bar which was a hit with everyone. They have deserts but no one ordered because the food was plentiful. The owner had come many years ago to Ebensee from Portugal and brought together the best of both worlds. I would highly recommend this for both lunch and dinner when you don't want to empty your bank account but want the tastiest in a really local place. If you find this helpful please mark it so.Berny"
