"After a 5 mile coastal walk from crimdon we headed to the end of the headlands before realising everything was closed. We rang ahead to Victoria arms before heading back down the headlands. We wasn't disappointed. The staff was so welcoming, the food was amazing, all home cooked and reasonably priced, definitely what we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone. We will be heading back for another meal before our holiday is over."

"On this occasion we didn’t have a good experience. Welcome from staff was good and service was prompt, but that’s all the good points for this visit. We had a table for and ordered papadums and pickles for our arrival which was really delicious....The starters arrived while we were eating the papadums, and we wished that we hadn’t bothered as they were quite small and tasteless. We didn’t finish the starters as not at all appetising. The mains came out and again a very small portion like a child’s portion, and again quite bland especially the jalfrezi, We got the bill quickly as we wanted to leave and was quite surprised with the total. Certainly not the best value meal you could ask for. They did say, did we have a voucher, but even with that, we certainly won’t be returning any time soon. Much better meals to be had in any of the other Indian restaurants in town, like Golden Gate, Dilshad, masala Lounge. Certainly better tasting even if it was priced the same and but the others are Markedly cheaper and better quality. Not a good night out with our friends on this occasion."
