"My wife and I had the grandkids for a day and we decided to try somewhere new. Initially I came to Batley to show the kids the home of Fox's biscuits and pick up some things from IKEA for my eldest and figured we might...be staying a while. We came to the Pheasant to get a nice sit down just to get out of the heat. The kids had lemonade and we had some teas. I didn't get the name of the young lady who served me but she was very polite (I've had issues in the past with other Green King pubs where people didn't look like they cared). We all felt very welcome here. There's a nice atmosphere and the lady clearing the tables asked if we were alright which was a very nice touch to the service. After feeling a bit peckish we got a takeaway to drive home with as we needed to get away, suffice to say it was delicous and if we're ever in the area again I'd be sure to visit a second time."

"Following our first takeaway from Locale it wasn't long until we visited again. We had another excellent meal, the mixed fajita and the mixed grill are particular favourites. The meats are excellent and the pizza's wouldn't look out of place in any fancy restaurants. If you're in the area and you're looking for a takeaway in our opinion there's no place better! It's cheap, friendly and cooks amazing dishes, what more do you need?"
