"Frequentato sia a pranzo che a cena, propone un menù piuttosto elaborato. Io ci sono stato di sera, ho preso una tagliata di manzo con rucola, pomodorini e scaglie di parmigiano: appetitosa. Il locale è accogliente e ben arredato; offre anche la possibilità di fare quattro chiacchiere all'esterno, dove sono sistemati alcuni tavoli e delle poltroncine. Buon appetito!"

"We had booked in advance but they could not give us an outside table on a very warm evening (although an Italian couple who arrived soon after were found one) and no fans were turned on inside. The service was very poor and we sat for 15 mins without anyone coming to see to us or offer water at least, despite many attempts to get the waiter's attention. The dish on the menu we had come for, grilled tuna, was not available, but there was no apology. I reluctantly ordered swordfish, which was raw and had to be sent back. Again, no apology; sarcasm, rather. When it eventually came back, it was without the cutlery they'd taken with it. We had to find cutlery in a sideboard and help ourselves. Veal in lemon sauce was tough veal with no lemon sauce, just a slice of lemon. When we asked for the bill twice it did not come and we eventually had to go to the reception area to pay. They gave the impression they were making no effort, at least towards tourists, in high holiday season, although actually the Italian family on the next table fared little better, with dishes not turning up and a very long wait. There were only three waiters for a huge indoor and outdoor restaurant. And on top of all this, the prices are significantly higher (18 euros for a slice of swordfish without accompaniments) than in the restaurants in the centre of the old town at Castiglione del Lago! Definitely not recommended for ambience, food, prices or service or attitude."
