"We don’t normally dine on Staten Island; however, we’ve driven past this restaurant on several occasions and have always wanted to try it. So I made a Birthday reservation. Upon arrival, the manager sat a group that came in after us. When he proceeded to seat us, he went past the main dining room, past the extension overlooking the water to (as I recall it) a tented area which was quite cold and very bright. He must have sensed my discomfort, so he walked us back to the main dining area. The service was slow and lackadaisical, to say the least. After ordering our initial drinks upon arrival, the server never asked if we wanted anything else. After dinner (which was delicious) we were “dismissed” and had to request the dessert menu (I did mention this was a birthday. Which is indicated on my reservation and I mentioned it to the manager upon arrival). The table across from us complained that they waited 30 minutes to place their dinner order. If not for the busser, we would not have gotten the 2nd glass of water. I left an 18% gratuity; however, I normally leave 20-22%. This was in response to the service not the quality of the food or the supplemental staff. Hope to try them again (maybe not on a Friday night) as we did enjoy the meal."

"Not only is the owner always there making you laugh and extremely friendly all the food is made to order. I can get enough of the mixed grill. His gyro meat isn't the mixed crap from the carts, it's layers of fresh lamb seasoned perfectly and put on the rotating grill. Absolutely amazing. Reasonably priced and you will never be disappointed."
