"Drove past this place and thought.. Whoah that place looks a treat. Do not let the looks fool you... You will be catfished worse than any past horrible tinder date. A Monday night and the only ones in the bar.... 3 steaks caused an absolute sh*t storm. Waiters jumping over waiters, managers spraying waiters, it was mayhem. I only ordered a rare steak and olives as a starter. This was the end as I knew it. My 2 fellow victims received their steaks first, there were these potato things that were supposed to resemble ‘hand cut’ chips andre the giant must have been handling the spuds that day. Soggy and bland dripping in oil what in the world. A lady asked if we were missing anything really loud.. ‘yeah I’m watching them eat’ My steak arrived as my fellow victims were near the end centimetre of their porterhouses, along with the olives. For some reason the olives were accompanied with 3 toasted pieces of sourdough. No butter or oil to wash theses dry croutons down.. just toast. How do you get the bread wrong? My steak was meh.. could cook better at home and not worth the coin. In the heat of everything our waiter forgot everyone’s cutlery.. twice. He was so rattled he gave me my cutlery and started placing napkins on our laps as if we were about to dine at Attica. I got a bit of a Laff out of this. The waiter was scrambling and running around, he knew that narky floor manager was on his case.. the poor little bloke. This actually caused the night to be funny. Won’t be so much when I check the bank account. What a disgrace. Don’t let looks fool you. Only go for a passing froth.. Albert park hotel leagues above"
