"We came here to the birthday of a friend on recommendation of another friend who was gedimt here before. the restaurant was friendly and friendly and friendly. as far as the menu went, the vegan plate seemed the best bet for two. the service was fast, although items eat and drink were randomly placed on the table, not necessarily before the person they ordered. when our platter arrived my partner and I needed to sit opposite each other to share it, they do not sit next to their dining room companion when they plan to share. the food was tasty and filled, with the usual sorts of beans, lenses and sweet dishes on injera, but I had better."

"A stand out amongst the masses. I love this place, the decor is comfortable and still trendy enough to make you pleased to stay a while. The staff always welcome you like an old friend and are great help with menu queries etc. Last meal there was the Beef Fajitas which is outstandingly good! Perfectly seared beef strips with caramelised onion and roast capsicum,served with a lovely southern influenced salad and avacado. Nice flat bread triangles to heap with your meat etc and it all works beautifully together. The serving is plentiful and the flavour lingers well. Also, on another trip, try the vanilla slice excellent!"

"We were super excited about Nuri's opening up in Melbourne. We've been to the original in Ubud Bali and we were regulars at the Canggu one when we lived there for two years. We were not disappointed by Nuri's Melbourne, its almost as good as Canggu. Try: The ribs (average person only needs the small size) The Lychee martini Nasi Gorang We've been here 4 times now and its been brilliant every time."
