"We stumbled on to Masala Zone quite by accident and I must say it was quite a happy accident. Looking at viable options, after an afternoon of wine at Sula wineyards (and some overpriced finger food), with a family of 4 including 2 kids, we were driving around when my wife spotted Masala Zone and the entrance looked quite decent, so in we went. First of all the ambienece, was nice and airy with lots of sunlight. Basically its was open dining area with a large low roof and surrounded by mosquito nets on all sides, so cutting out all the creepy crawlies. Nice seating and open ambience made us instantly relax. It was quite cool, being late December, but i guess it will be cool in summers too due to the Nashik climate. We ordered Chicken Zaffran, Rotis, Naan and Dal Khichda for the kids. The breads were very well made with none of the chewiness associated with maida based breads. "I have been to Govind Cafe twice in the past 15 days. You will see couples in the cafe most of the time. Tried Cafe Mocha, which was ok! And a vegetable cheese grilled sandwich that was yummy! The presentation of the food and drinks they serve has recently been improved."
