"Arrive early & you will find a space in this very popular seafood restaurant in Miraflores. I've lived in Chile & traveled throughout Peru - this is hands-down one of THE BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS I've experienced. My husband & I ate here on our first night after arriving in Lima for a 3 week trip and we returned again for out last night. Yes, it's crowded - especially on the weekends. But, it's crowded due to it's popularity and consistency in delivering exceptionally good seafood. Our favorite was the Pulpo al Olivo! The ceviche samplers are delicious too - melts in your mouth! ¡Felicidades a todos en Punto Azul! "Place is small but you can eat inside or outside. Located in a busy area with lots of great restaurants around. Food was good for lunch and they certainly had some tasty looking pastries for dessert. Also great bread and rolls."

"Stopped in for lunch at La Lamista on Aug 2nd as we were waiting for our late flight at the Lima Airport. The owner Mayla visited with us before making out meal. Everything is clean and put on the plates perfectly. The size was very good and the flavor was amazing. Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch"

"The lack of air conditioning is the only negative of the place. It was a hot day and the humidity made it a little uncomfortable. The other negative was the 10 minute wait to get a glass of wine! The restaurant is fairly large and attractive in a simple way. There are different levels and lots of people (locals) eating lunch. English is not a second language, burt we eventually were able to communicate what we wanted. When delivered, it was excellent and very tasty. The presentation was decent--excellent for a lunch. They take credit cards--as is the case with many establishments in Lima. You may not see a sign on the door, but if you ask, they will tell you if they do. We liked that they used some of the fruits we had experienced at the Indian Market. The french fries are excellent. For a lunch this good, we found the prices to be very reasonable."
