"We stopped in here for coffee and lunch before our college tour of McGill campus. Even though it was a Friday afternoon, and last day of classes, the place was buzzing with students, but mellow. There were a ton of students, but no one was loud. The coffee was excellent (I had the Mocha Cappuccino) and the sandwiches hit the spot. No hot food like soups or chilli. Plenty of seating both in the cafe area, and the back courtyard (part of the back building) where most of the students were meeting and studying. They is a cute small fireplace near the bathroom, which was a nice place to hangout on this particularly cold, Spring day. Service was very friendly and bi-lingual. Wifi was good and reliable so that was helpful. I would definitely come back here again."

"Olive et Gourmando is the best food in the world. Not the best pastries in the world. The best food in the world. We are flying back to the States today, and I have accepted the fact that for the next few months, I will surely wake up in a cold sweat nightly. At first I won’t know what’s wrong the looming threat of world war? The untimely death of Chris Cornell? Bees? Then it will occur to me that I have no access to these pastries and I will weep while rocking in the fetal position for hours, rendering myself so exhausted and useless that I will lose both my job and my children. Thanks, Olive et Gourmando, for ruining my life."

"Mangia, in downtown Montreal, features a wide range of freshly made salads and charges by weight. The more you take, the more you pay. I had a wonderful medley of seafood, chickpeas, mango and tomato, a large slice of home made apple and raisin cake and a can of pop and it cost me just $22 Canadian. The service was very friendly."

"I’ve been here several times and normally it was good but this morning was terrible! I ordered dirty chais with oat milk and they were nearly cold, the oat milk was so foamy it was like a. Cappuccino and they tasted terrible. Won’t be back ; Had to throw them both away."

"Beautiful croissants, coffee and also beautiful people!!!The only thing I don't like is that at the time I use to go there is a lot of people waiting in line and just one person taking the orders and sometimes the same person should prepare the coffee and finish the service which means a lot of waiting time."

"I was looking for a place to have a snack and this place looked so cute and fun that I decided to try it. Their Smore's waffle plate was huge and delicious. Great plating too. Very nice and efficient staff. Loved it."
