"Pizza review: Very good pies, for a good everyday price (two ~18 pies, 3 toppings each, $26. One plain pie is $15). They recently (near beginning of 2021) changed the dough they use (and sell separately) for their pies, and its noticeably better. Dough seems to be more malleable for pizza making compared to previous years. They label the pizza box with the ingredients for their dough and cheese, which is admirable, although maybe not necessarily 100% accurate. A downside is that the ingredients do not seem to be certified-organic, but the plus-side is that apparently their is no artificial flavours, colours, or preservatives in their ingredients. Note the Yonge Sheppard location offers a wider variety of toppings than the Yorkville location (sausage available at Y S, but not Yorkville, for one), oddly. Also, recently was told the Yorkville location offers 2 toppings instead of 3 for their 2-pie special. So Y S location is clearly the better option for now."

"This is a good candidate for take out. When you dine in you don’t get proper cutlery and its so hard to deal with plastic forks and knife to cut the crepe. The girl who helped us at the cash was duper nice! Shout out to her. I did not like the matcha crepe especially the beans in the stuffing, but the chocolate one was better. They also close late, which is a bonus."

"I’ve been a fan of Aroma Espresso Bar, since they opened their first Canadian location in 2007. They now have 25 locations in Toronto and 150 locations world wide! I must admit I keep returning to Aroma for these two reasons: I love the mug that my coffee is served in, and I love the piece of chocolate that comes with my coffee. I know it sounds shallow but it’s the truth! I’m also fond of the food that they serve. I probably like this dish the best. It’s called Shakshuka. Described as: Two sunny-side up eggs, on top of a rich warm tomato and pepper sauce. Served with Tahini and your choice of freshly baked bread. Can you say “YUM”? Their sandwiches are ALL divine. In my humble opinion, their sandwiches are all fabulous due to the BREAD. There is something about their bread that sets it apart from others! When I’m not inhaling shakshuka or a sandwich..I’ve been known to order a salad too. Always fresh and always tasty! Now that the cooler temperatures have arrived, I know I will be enjoying Aromas’ satisfying soups as well. It’s interesting to note, that everyone time I give a friend an option to meet at Aroma or another coffee shop, they always choose Aroma as they want to eat. I never disagree. It’s also interesting to note that Aroma was one of the first restaurants who were “twitter” friendly back in 2010. #impressed"

"Needed a big but quiet place to get some work done at odd hours and Second Cup always pulled through with the table space and delicious coffee! Sometimes, it's about visiting those places you are just so familiar with, because it's about comfort than adventures some days; It's always a plus when the people working there are so friendly too, always have a good chat with my baristas. First had Hazelnut Cream Coffee, it came out in the coolest cup I've seen from them, loved the strong heavenly smells of hazelnut in my cup! But who says you only have to get coffee at coffeeshops? My second order was Blueberry Cheesecake! Didn't realize until I sat down and forked a piece of this baby to put in my mouth..... that I haven't had this kind of New York style cheesecake in about two years. How did I let this happen?!?! That's not acceptable! LOL Devoured this rich blueberry bomb with much satisfaction (look at that top layer of berries, it was to die for)! For my third order, a little later into my sitting: Almost forgot to take this photo... smacked myself in the head for inhaling the iced coffee down so quick in one go! Ordered their new flash cold brew, this one being Mocca/Mocha! There was a good thick layer of creamy chocolate syrup at the bottom, which was the best part for me. Would positively order this drink again! Thanks Second Cup for the good visit."

"I ordered a delicious 6” mocha chiffon cake for birthday celebration. The chiffon is fluffy and stuffed with tasty mocha flavoured fresh cream, choco chips and berries. Definitely will order again!Just a reminder for everyone, current the cake shop does not have any take-out products for sale if you didn’t pre-order online. It’s basically a pick-up point. I hope it could have more options in the future."

"It's a nice coffee shop with a patio. It's a perfect place to meet friends especially that the adjoining area also has chairs and small tables. The only thing I did not like, in order to use their wifi, you need to log in to your FB. Coffee is good and some of their pastries make a good pairing with their drinks."
