"I used to go out of my way to have my morning coffee at Velvet. The coffee was excellent, service was fast and personable, and food consistently good. <br>
It seems to me that since the business changed hands the service is impersonal and I won't be back again."

"Great service! Owner is very friendly and helpful. Shop is tucked away, I only found it because I'm a coffee fanatic and kept seeing people come out of the arcade with striking coffee cups. Knew it couldn't belong to the revolting, bland franchise nearby, which would be reason enough I wouldn't go in there! Glad I did wander in. Nice coffee, reasonably priced. Not a lot to eat, but some simple sandwiches and treats. Again, reasonably priced and tasty. One of my favourites in Perth. This place deserves to do well, hope my review encourages a few others to seek them out!"

"Drink and food. The cafe at the Zoo. I was there with my carer and we both had lunch, she had a flat white and I had a Mocha (they didn't ask what a mocha was, they already knew). The food and the drink was both good, the staff could be more inclusive, rather than waiting for us to say something. They were busy it was lunchtime at the Zoo."

"I stopped at Tuck Cafe one rainy Saturday for lunch. I entered and a waitress came up and gave me a seat at one of the empty tables. She said she'd return for my order shortly. Fifteen minutes later, having finally got the attention of another waitress, I was told that no, I had to wait until that particular waitress came to take the order. Strange, when this waitress had just taken the order of the adjacent table that had come in later than me! I waited another five minutes without success and left. No customer service, despite there being three waitresses and several empty tables!"

"A group of friends visited here for drinks on Saturday night and was looking forward to a relaxing evening catching up.The place wasn't too crowded and we were able to grab a seat. Unfortunately not enough seating for everyone and they closed the upstairs area so you couldn't sit upstairs in the outdoor area.The bar was crowded and they clearly didn't have enough staff to cater for the amount of patrons they had, or enough seats (even high bar seats). The music was ridiculously loud, so you had to shout in your friends ear to be heard. We gave up after an hour and left.I've been here in the daytime before and it was a much more enjoyable time during the day than at night."
