"Recently booked in for dinner and had a high class meal. The pork belly and scollap was delicious and the steak and chicken dishes were first class. The only downside of the evening was the service. We ordered initial cocktails but were not offered any...further drinks. At the completion of our meals we were not offered dessert nor a bill for the meal. After waiting some time we got up and went to the main desk to ask for the bill."

"My family celebrated my birthday at Tamarind and we had a fabulous time! All the dishes were sensational, I particularly enjoyed the baby barramundi which is served upright on the plate with a delicious tamarind sauce. The sides were very generous portions and all yummy. The most excellent part though was the service! The staff were friendly, attentive and went above and beyond in their interactions. I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant to people enjoying a romantic date or a larger celebration like ours."

"We had dinner in the bayleaf and had the banquet. it was extraordinary. there was so much to eat. everything was delicious. the service was the first class to eat. highly recommended to eat at bayleaf, they will not be disappointed that they are!"

"The food quality was good (not great, but not bad either). However we waited for 2 hours for Fish and Chips and another Main. Seriously? When we asked we were told that they did not put our main orders in until after our Entrees had come out (the entrees has been delivered over an hour earlier)Then the server informed us it would be another 10 minutes wait after we had asked. The server did apologize and offered us a free round of drinks which we declined as we were 3 adults and 2 children and had already had 1 alcoholic beverage for each adult. Pleasant people, but they obviously forgot to put our order in and did not tell us or admit to their error. Very disappointing as we had high hopes for this restaurant based on others experiences and the general look and ambiance of the place. Not a great experience and maybe an off night for them, but unfortunately the wait was not worth it and the food was just ok once it did arrive. We don 't think we 'll be back during our visit to Trinity Beach. Edit: They did end up comping 1 meal when they brought the check which was nice, but they still never admitted to forgetting our order and instead blamed it on a busy night and the kitchen when they obviously only started cooking it when they told us 10 minutes . I have worked food service before so understand accidents happen, but also that you need to admit when something has gone wrong and be upfront with your guests to try and make it right ASAP."

"Fantastic experience and great food! We returned from a fishing charter at 4pm. The team were handed our catch and in the time it took for us to return after a shower, Mel and Rochelle presented us with 5 exceptional dishes. Each dish was perfectly matched to the variety of fish that we caught and tasted absolutely incredible. Thank you for such a personalised and memorable experience!"

"Worte can not describe how amazing this experience was in this restaurant! everything from drinks to eating was even the atmosphere so fantastic! we tried all cocktails on the menu and had two round tapas and everything was so delicious! the owner of the restaurant came by to check and make sure that we enjoy our meals it was such a fantastic night! 10/10 would recommend"
