"Beautiful place UGLY customer service. This is my first visit here... And besides the hotel itself, it's quickly becoming my last. When we arrived we called from our room to the front desk to ask the time of the buffet closing, we were told 10. We went down a little after 6 and were told it was closing in 45 minutes. We ended up at the Asian restaurant Ume, we waited quite a while to be seated, waited to be greeted by our waiter, between all of these waits we ended up 19 minutes late for happy hour, never received one of the drinks that we ordered, received slightly burnt food, then waited for the bill while the wait staff enjoyed a nice conversation at the bar. All in an EMPTY RESTAURANT! The waiter accused me of taking a picture, I was threatened with calling security to go through my phone if the manager didn't see the pictures I took, and not a single person was apologetic or even felt like the situation needed to improve. The manager comp'd a few items. But the waiter never even showed his face again. Just rude. So far, I'm disgusted..."

"February 2022: This updated review gives me no pleasure to craft. While a 5 star review from 11/5/2021 is below, my repeat visit in February 2022 was polar opposite and led to this update. Grabbed three dishes and again proceeded to the park across the street for what we believed would be another great lunch. It was almost as if I was at an entirely different restaurant. The sesame seed chicken was chewy, all of it, chewy bread and what appeared to be dark chicken meat. The Mongolian beef was mostly onion and the flavor left us wanting. Finally, the vegetarian tofu plate with broccoli was also subpar. I commute from central to this place, and likely won 't return after this experience. Again, I regret being so harsh during a point in time where ratings are encouraged to be 'generous ' (Read because of the pandemic). But looking above at the 2 star rating defined by yelp as "Could 've been better ', to be blunt I am still writing in the spirit of being ?generous?. 05NOV2021: Drove out from Central Tucson just for this lunch...was not disappointed. Beef and Broccoli and Mongolian Beef both so flavorful. The fried rice was absolutely delicious. Egg Flower soup, rich and flavorful. Although there is no dining in as of 11/2021 there is a nice park (Crossroads) just across the street. My to go order had all the sauces, two cookies, chopsticks wonderful lunch Chef Phillip thank you. If I had one criticism on a 5 star review it would be the egg roll...not certain made in house....if they are made in house, forgive me, because the rolling of the egg role itself is so perfect, it appears machine made. I may be incorrect Chef."
