"I still left the guy a tip for some reason. We used to go this place back when I traveled for work. It was great then. The server needs to learn to be more polite. We walked in and I headed straight to the bathroom. He stopped me and asked can I help you I said I looking for the bathroom. Very abruptly he said they are for customers only ? well I felt like walking out then but we didn 't. Too bad cuz when the food came it really was lacking any meat on both dishes served and a ton of onions and s$*t load of rice really went down hill. Will be my last visit there."

"Absolutely the BEST Chinese food between Sacramento and San Francisco, probably better than many places there, as well. Austere atmosphere, and thinly staffed, are the only downfalls. At peak meal times, noon till two, and 5:15-7:15, you can expect a wait, and less than attentive service especially on the weekends. It's the only Chinese restaurant I will eat at any more. Ridiculously good food. No alcohol. I eat there too much. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food."

"We recently started going back to Wah Shine. Not sure if it's under new management but it's MUCH better than we remembered from several years ago. Another big plus is the staff. They are so pleasant friendly and they make you feel so welcome and thank you for coming when you leave. Also, the food comes out amazingly fast and the portions are large and really good! They also have take-out when you just want to stay home and chill."

"All the food here is well prepared, fresh taste. The house fried rice is light and flavorful. We’ve eaten here for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The lunch specials are generous for one person. Starting with a bowl of soup. We’ve had hot ’n sour, egg drop, a tomato veggie, veggie in broth all very good! followed by the entree and choice of either fried or steamed rice on a plate. Favorites – sauteed three ingredients, mongolian beef, prawns and snow peas, almond chicken, string beans and pork, an eggplant dish – spicy but do not remember the name – very good! or lemon chicken. Dinner is the same, a bit larger portions with a higher price tag. The Mu Shu, chowmein, egg rolls and pot stickers are all very good. The worst item we’ve had their – the coke. It’s a bit on the syrupy side, so we stick to hot tea and water. Service is excellent."
