"There is not a single item on this menu that’s anything less than fantastic. we’ve had the mofongo, sancocho, grilled octopus, burger, cubano, empanadas, tostones rellenos. they’re all EXCEPTIONAL, and there’s so much more i want to try. the folks who work here are also the absolute kindest and coolest. when i’m at puerto viejo, i’m just happy, man! the vibes and ambiance are on point too. great for dates, friend hangs, family outings, really you name it. 15/10"

"Simply and delicious Dominican food at a fair price. The rosted chicken was very tasty; the rice was made excellent, and satisfying. The service was pleasant and friendly as well. Great place for lunch. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it."

"Mustard, onion, chili for me. Quick service, enough turnover that you get piping hot dogs and condiments each time, good value for money. Add a cup of fried potatoes from 'the place nearby that should not be named ' and you have a high tasting, low brow lunch!"
