"Not a place to eat if your not Haitian ... The staff is rude as hell if your not Haitian . And the chicken was way under cooked . This place just ain't it I'm sorry just go to chef creole or ceci bon and the countless others in he area with better food and service."

"I have been eating Marie’s Griot since 1977-78 when she was cooking out of her house and my brother and I would play with her kids. BEST GRIOT IN MIAMI PERIOD! Excellent food! Don’t bother projecting your privilege by expecting to get your a kissed here. Come here for quality authentic Haitian food in generous portions. Anything else , go somewhere else and stop leaving bad reviews based on your expectations from other types of restaurants. Madame John’s griot is the reason we drive all the way from South Dade, and have NEVER found better griot anywhere else in Miami."
