"With one last night in Geneva and an early flight, we decided to enjoy a light supper in the Glow Bar Lounge overlooking the lake. Everything in this hotel had been spectacular up until this point. The server made a mistake. Mistakes happen. However, she brought food we didn't order, and then, when we corrected her, brought her coworker out to literally berate us for ordering food and changing our minds. I do not care what the reason, when a guest refuses an entree, you take it back. Do not question and certainly do not bring out reinforcements to insult and accuse the guests. Simple error. There were 3 of us. We ordered 3 entrees. She brought 4. I found another staff member, asked her to clear it up. She explained that her coworkers must have misunderstood. I thought she'd take care of it. Nobody brought the check (which we'd come to expect anyway) and so we had to go up to the bar for it. Sure enough, the extra meal had been added to our bill. It left a very very bad taste in our mouths to be sure. We will of course not be back. And for the record, the food was good, but very pricey. Which, when the service is good, is forgiveable. When you are treated in such a disrespectful manner, it's not worth half what they charged."
