"My husband and I wanted to try Mediterranean food and it was close to our house. We loved the quiet and intimate atmosphere. The buffet was amazing and the food had much flavor. The chef was very personable and came out to talk with the guests and the staff was very friendly. We will be coming back."

"I absolutely love, love Athenian Cafe ! This place has the most delicious food and the best homemade desserts. Their Greek salad and Horiatiki (village salad along with their seafood ,from grilled fish , grilled or fried Calamari , Shrimps and grilled Octopus you will be in cloud number 9 ! Their appetizers are also delicious. Just to name a few that I’ve tried , Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves, meat or vegetarian drizzled in lemon sauce , flaming cheese Saganaki (OPA Cheese ! , giant beans baked with tomato sauce and baked eggplant in tomato sauce . Mousaka (eggplant dish , Spanakopita (spinach and feta cheese baked on filo dough , so well prepared and delicious. You may not want to leave the table without trying their desserts .I’ve tried their Tiramisu (homemade , I felt like I stepped in heaven . This place is a gem . Delicious food, great service and very clean . Worth every penny . Thank you Athenian Cafe !"

"Cheap Eats. We were craving Greek food we found this place on the internet. Asked someone about this place they'd said that the food was good that they gave good sized portions for reasonable prices. That was good enough for me! Glad that we'd gone! The food was great the servers were very friendly. Everything's made from scratch! If you're not boujie, it's a great place to take your family! We're gonna go back!"

"Athens Cafe is the best for authentic Greek cuisine in Jacksonville. My family and I love being greeted by Stella when we come to Din. Your staff is friendly and welcoming. They always try to offer a fantastic service (loving to see Klaert's smile face) and the atmosphere is excellent. If you happen to go to a late dinner on a Friday night, they have a fantastic belly dance show that will certainly delight. You have a wide selection of spirits, wines and beer to combine with the delicious food. Make yourself a favor next time you want to take your SO off for a special evening and go out this place."
