"We dined at Alpha last night (party of 6) and I was completely blown away! First the service- beyond compare. I am allergic to onions and garlic, which makes it difficult for me to eat out. Not at this restaurant. The waiter was able to tell me which meals came without either, then talked to the chef who agreed to modify other dishes. When the assorted appetizers arrived there were ones just for me! Amazing! The food- Our waiter brought out the fresh fish and allowed us to see their catch of the day. I had the seared tuna steak, mixed veggies and potatoes. The food was so good! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal!"

"We had a wonderful lunch at this fantastic restaurant. The service was excellent! I had the best grilled octopus I've ever had. The spinach salad was tasty with a simple dressing that paired well with the sesame seeds and a cheesy Greek spread. A sampling of a couple of red wine options by the host, both were finely selected, and a pleasure to enjoy over conversation. The grilled pork on a skewer was seasoned and cooked tender to perfection. It was easy to finish off with the house made tzaziki. We enjoyed a baked eggplant with feta and tomato on cheesy crispy phyllo pastry. The atmosphere of this cozy well decorated restaurant paired with the fresh cuisine will have your taste buds dancing and your wallet with room for dessert. I highly recommend this as one of the best, if not the best, Greek restaurant in the Wiesbaden area. Great Job Kavos, keep up the great service and fine food!"

"I will start with the great. Our first time visiting there, we were greeted with a warm handshake from the owner, a boisterous, friendly gentleman with a great mustache. We were seated immediately and it took just moments for the waiter to take our drink order and return. At no time did you have to search for a waiter, they just showed up when you needed them.We got the seafood soup based on recommendation from TripAdvisor reviewers. No complaints about that. Our combined dinner contained gigantes (giant beans), fried zucchini and eggplant, gyros, and the mixed grilled plate. Everything was cooked to perfection. However, we all agreed that, except for the soup and tzatziki sauce, it was largely flavorless.To be sure, I will try again, but not for a while."
