"Das Exo ist die Gastronomie im Exotenhaus des Karlsruher Zoos. Auch nach der Schließung der Zookassen kann das Exo von der Ettlinger Straße aus betreten werden. Der Innenbereich ist zum Exotenhaus hin verglast damit man den Vögeln, Flughunden, Faultieren und Totenkopfäffchen zusehen kann. Zudem verfügt das Exo über eine großzugig gestaltete Außenterasse mit Lounge-Atmosphäre. Tagsüber wird diese jedoch von den Zoobesuchern genutzt. Das Essen hat hohe Qualität und das Gastronomiekonzept stimmt. Das Lokal ist ideal für Familienfeste, Firmenfeiern, Hochzeiten und Veranstaltungen jeder Art geeignet. Der Pächter ist hoch qualifiziert und bereitet für solche "Events" ein Menü zu das sich mit Sterneküchen messen lassen kann."

"I have a very personal problem with sharpness. I just can't even eat hot. in thali, however, it is so fresh and cooked so that I liked to eat there. the thali is only recommended. different, dine through the bank delicious. of course with a certain sharpness, but even for me as far as possible feasible. the service is exemplary. you will be happy to explain what the thali contains everything and how to eat what best. tipp: who is too sharp can easily demand the sharply balancing cucumber. but will not be necessary. worth a visit. whoever it cannot be sharp enough, he can also like to inform, here the loadability is put on the sample."

"Run by a French/German couple - Norman and Marie - they offer freshly prepared meals at excellent value for money. Every week a different soup, two different quiches with side salad, a crepe with imaginative topping, a vegetarian meal, a fish one and a meat one. Menus are offered, finished with fresh fruit fools or mousse au chocolat. I have never been disappointed with the quality of the food here. One example: Fried fillet of salmon with a ruccola-walnut topping and sauce choron on potato-asparagus ragout. Frenchopen is hidden away in a Tennis club but is worth the search. In summer, a large outside terrace is a real sun trap."
