"Great surprise! we couldn't find a place to get dinner and randomly came here, saw the good reviews and went in. many native, nice waiters (at least one of them speak Spanish) and the most delicious seafood (like aroz caldoso.) we ordered: tomatensuppe (soup of the day:) 1,50€ meeressuppereis for 2 (or 3, if they have no huge apetit/not as big as portugiesen:) 25€ alheira (some kind of fried sausage that I would describe more like a chouriço shaped croquette with fries and ei: 7.50€ flan: 4€ agua: 1.20€ draft beer ( 1€ there was a amount confusion around the bill, but I don't think they wanted to cheat us because the 1st bill they brought was then underpriced"

"We have been dining at A Valenciana when we have a layover or vacation in Portugal for the past 12 years. Food is very good, is one of our favorite places for frango asado, although it is a bit of a victim of its own success with the number of foreigners that come here. Waiters are usually helpful, special shout out to Mario, Bruna, and Bernardo, all super friendly and Bernardo is completely bilingual Portuguese and English. He also gave us a great tip for getting to Setubal! We have been reserving lately due to the popularity of the place! Thanks again and see you on the 18th--Andrew"

"Lots of places on the Rua Vieira how do you choose ? Look for diners who look like you is one way. Yes we ate the starters a high quality Queijo Seco and the olives 6 euros out of 37 but that suited what followed. Dourada (Dorada) with green beans ,beetroot and potatoes plus a separate main of Prawn salad. Super chocolate mousse and a delicate white house wine. Friendly service and inside or outside tables on offer"
