"We arrived to the La Casa de la Abuela to have a lunch in a quite calm day. The place is very close, cca 1 minute walking form the Plaza the Armas, so the location is excellent. At the moment we entered to the restaurant we knew that something is different here. The atmosphere remains a little bit to the old times and all the details are really well and carefully done. The owner is very welcoming, and it came up, that her partner is an artist - a wood sculptor. Claro... that is one of the secret of this place. The second one is the clay oven :) We both asked a muna (Andean mint) tea (3 Soles) and we received a whole jug with two ceramic cups. This is not so common... so we were so grateful for it! We also tasted the Tacos (15 Soles) and the Burritos (15 Soles) both were really nicely prepared and very delicious. We loved that the tortillas and the nachos were home-made! After this enjoyment we decided to ask a Pizza, just a vegetarian one (depending on the size 14/23/34 Soles). How good this decision was! They are baking their pizzas in the clay oven and also the base is home-made.. and it is full with nice vegetables that are in harmony with the spices on it. On the menu we saw that they also have raw cakes. Is it possible, that these ones are those ones we know? We have been traveling since a while here but we haven't seen them in Peru at all... Ok, why not? Give it a try! So we asked a Purple Chocolate Mousse raw cake (6 Soles) and we made a good decision. It had a great price and was amazingly delicious. And they are gluten & lactose free :) Thankyou."

"Very sweet husband and wife team from Mexico set up this delicious little spot. Very cute place the decor is adorable, reminds me a little of the famous Serendipity dessert house in NY. Nice selection of all house-made desserts, ice creams and candies. Free wifi. Great place to take the kids."

"In the frame of our journey to peru we had luck to spend the night in willka tika. the resort is really an oase in sacred valley. the ground is so beautiful! eating is vegetarian, but they will be more vegan. we had the whole resort for us, except for another couple on their honeymoon. we all enjoyed the quinoa suppe, salat, ratatouille as sweet and delicious baked apple for dessert. as winter was, the main room had a glowing fire and the personal placed hot water bottles in our rooms while we ate. the personal is very friendly and hospitable. I wish we could have spent more time there! willka tika also hosts groups for yoga and various other holistic programs."
