"On the other night, my sister and my brother visited the law of the city. I wanted to take her to a nice dinner, so I chose Julian 's. We didn't know the restaurant was turned into a banquet plant and that there was an event this evening. The hostess asked us to sit in the lounge area, we thought it wasn't a problem. The same menu she said. There were no tablecloths on one of the tables in the lounge, and the floor is still torn, but OK, we understand there's construction going on. Our bartender lady was less than attentive. She put the table with table sets that I swear were cut with kiddie scissors from old tablecloths - they were not jammed on any side and were so polished that they were not flat on the table. There were no napkins, so I went back and asked for napkins. Tuchservietten? was the answer. Yeah, I got 4 cloth napkins. When the steaks came, we asked steak sauce. The bartender/waitress gave us an empty bottle and we asked ourselves again and got another bottle that had steak sauce in it, but the cap was 1/2 broken and the neck/mouth of the bottle looked questionable. We had to ask for steak knives and got what the men in our party called butter knives on steroids. We asked if there were any real steak knives, and she was about 15 minutes away and came back with 2 jagged steak knives that were so bent up that a CLEARLY was eventually used as a screwdriver because the tip was bent and flattened. I had requested oil and vinegar for my salad, but I had not set the cross for more than 2 minutes when one of the waiters whispered to the bartender that she needed it for the buffet side. I asked the bartender if there was only one sentence, and she said yes. I told her it was ridiculous, and she was shaking her shoulders."
