"We were told The Hill was the place to get a great meal before a show at The Fabulous Fox Theater. Word of caution, there isn 't much open for dinner on Sunday in this area. The restaurants that were either specifically named to us or we thought looked good online were all closed except Gian-Tony 's. We made an early reservation and the place was nearly empty but within a few minutes it was filled to capacity. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was mediocre. We tried the seafood stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. The bread provided was nothing special. House ceaser salads before the main course has low quality lettuce, burned croutons, and was heavy on the anchovy in the dressing. For main dishes we chose the filet mignon and the seafood ravioli with scallops. The filet is served swimming in a dish of filet sauce which tasted like a creamy chicken broth. It wasn 't enjoyable and at $42, the quality of the meat didn 't match the price point. For $20 we got 5 large ravioli sprinkled with what looked like marshmallows but in reality were the tiniest scallops I had ever seen. We finished the meal sharing a tiramisu because I have to try every Italian restaurants tiramisu. It was light on the espresso flavors and heavy on sweet cream. Throw in 2 glasses of well-wine and it was $112 for a couple before a 20% tip. I was excited to try Gian-Tony 's on our visit to St. Louis but will definitely look for something different on our next visit."

"The sole, steak and prime rib were all prepared to perfection. In fact, every bite of each course was delicious. The key lime pie was the best I've ever tasted. We were a party of five. Even during the early seating, the waiter could not keep up with our basic needs second pour from wine bottle, more than a cursory check in after entrees arrived, slow service from start to finish. Even with the assistant wait staff helping, our server struggled. The waiters need a course in customer service. Our waiter came around though, 15 minutes before the check arrived. Tables too close together in back room but the atmosphere was lively and fun."

"This location is in the heart of The Hill in St. Louis. Their menu has a lot of variety. Sandwiches, pasta, salads, and a full bar. It reminded me of a local tavern that everyone in the neighborhood goes and hangs out at. I ordered the Roast Beef sandwich, make sure to get it on the garlic cheese bread, it?s so good. Their onion rings were homemade. We got a sample platter before our lunch arrived and all the items where amazing. Would definitely go back and eat here again."

"We dine in today and the service was so horrible. WePretty much service ourselves because our server never return to our table. Not one check up!! the food was bring out from someone from the back only thing she did was bring us drinks. We had to get up and flag someone down to bring us baskets, napkins, To go boxes and the check. we had to walk up and Check out because just left us sitting there for so long. They acted like they didn’t want our money or something because Two table dine and dash without paying. Our server was named Erica order#30015 she was busy chatting with her coworkers and friends she is just very lazy.. she needs to be spoken too about customer service. Might as well close the dine in area because no service being provided. Not going back to that location."

"It was my first time dining at Fortel 's. My husband has been here before. The pizza was very good. I tried the taco pizza. I ordered a small. It was a lot of pizza for a small. It was pretty good. I don 't know if I would order it again. I will definitely eat at Fortel 's again. I 'd like to try a make your own pizza . My husband had the Meat Lovers. His was really good. I ate more of his than my own. The employees that were working were very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend Fortel 's for a pizza night."
