"My daughter and I were at a loose end and decided, rather than get a take away, we would walk to the local pub, have a couple of drinks and then get a pizza in what is known locally as Puccinni's. We had booked a table at 7, but when we arrived there were plenty of free tables. We were shown to a nice table near the rear of the restaurant, by a very polite waitress. We ordered a Morretti and a glass of wine which were brought to our table immediately No draught beers here). We ordered our food and started chatting as one does. There is music played here, but it is at just the right volume so that it doesn't ruin the conversation . The food was freshly prepared and was fantastic. There was no feeling of getting us to eat and leave that you get in some places, we just had a very relaxed meal. The o my issue was, that when it came time to pay the bill, there was a problem with the card reader and it took at least 10 minutes to connect so that we could make payment, this also happened the last time that we are there, so really needs to be looked at. That niggle aside, we had a great evening and as usual the food was top class, as was the service. This is a newish restaurant that has hit the bullseye first time!"
