"Good friendly service. This was my first time there. Got a cheesesteak and a pan cheese pizza. The cheesesteak was huge and had good flavor. The pan pizza had good flavor especially the sauce, but since its so thick it was still a little doughy and uncooked in center. Next time I will try the NY style cause I have a feeling thats the way to go."

"Recently my wife and I went to Steubenville to see the great display of life sized nutcrackers, and once we were done, we went to Scaffidi 's for lunch. The restaurant itself is outside of the downtown area, at the end of an outdoor strip mall, with plenty of free parking. We were promptly greeted and seated. For lunch, my wife ordered the Make Your Own calzone at $9.95, and I ordered the Italian Hoagie, also at $9.95. Both sandwiches were huge, and really, really good! My wife, who grew up in New Jersey, said it was the best calzone she had eaten in years! High praise! The only downside to our luncheon was the waitress service, where on multiple occasions our server would disappear, even though there weren 't that many folks in the restaurant. For example, we were done for at least 15 minutes before she came over and asked if we were ready for the check, and it was another 10-15 minutes, once the check arrived, for her to return to pick it up. Thank goodness we weren 't in any sort of a rush. Other than that, I 'd absolutely return for the food, and hope I got a different waitress!"
