"Visited for dinner on Saturday evening. The food tasted good! At the end of our meal I visited the bathroom and was disgusted to see a member of kitchen staff use the urinal then leave without hand washing. Holding their own body part with hands...close to the trough, no hand washing, then touching the door handle, which others have to use is unacceptable, and one way to spread germs! I reported this to a member of staff who quickly investigated. I was told that the member of kitchen staff in question was from their sister restaurant opposite. Although a different restaurant i was told part of the same group and feedback would be given. This was good to know but the point I make about the door handle is still valid and I’m sorry for the diners at the restaurant opposite. Hopefully a isolated incident."

"We had the best takeaway burgers from this great Burger Haus in North Hobart. This restaurant offers and extensive range of burgers which cater for the whole family as well as for vegetarians, vegans and those on who are on a gluten free diet. As well as the the traditional burger this restaurant offers breakfast, vegetarian, salmon, lamb and even boar burgers. Customers can also choose to have a white, wholemeal or gluten free bun- or a bunless burger which is served with cos lettuce. I chose the Mary's Lamb burger with rilled haloumi cheese, olive tapenade, haus aioli, roasted capsicum, rocket, cucumber and red onion for .$13. This burger was massive, delicious and great value. The other family were similarly impressed with their options which were similarly substantial and great value. I will certainly be returning when I am next in Hobart and I certainly recommend checking out the menu on line before ordering as there are so many great options available. The restaurant also has a tables and a good sized eating area for those who want to eat in."
