"One of the better meals we had. came to the breakfast and was not disappointed. the coffee was beautifully made with good aromen of the bores. we had the hearty French toast with black pudding, which was an interesting recording on the normal sweeter version. the brot was clear and interesting and good with the black pudding, the tasty and deviated from the stodgy versions that may sometimes appear. the stirrup was perfectly cooked, but under seasoned. accompanied with chorizo but made it extra special. the personal was friendly and attentive. hidden from the normal tourist opposite, but one to recommend."

"Visited the Rivulet Cafe last Tuesday for afternoon tea after picking children up from school... The children enjoyed playing in the fenced play area... It's great to know they are safe while I enjoyed a hot chocolate..I just wish it stayed open longer than 4-30 pm with summer coming:)"

"I've been coming here for a couple of years and if the young guy with glasses always made my coffee, I'd give this 5 stars. Unfortunately, yesterday I had a young lass make my coffee (and I use that word loosely.) Pale beige in colour, tepid, thin, watery, and no discernible coffee taste at all. The beverage tasted like a weak International Roast. It was truly awful. Thank goodness for the chocolate covered coffee bean I received with the beverage; at least that tasted of coffee! The two lasses serving seemed more intent on chatting loudly to customers and being, what's the word ... hipster??; nothing wrong with that, unless it takes their mind off delivering a decent coffee, which it seemed to yesterday. Whomever made my beverage yesterday needs further training on how to deliver a great coffee. Service was also very slow. I doubt that I'll be back."
