"It's not obvious from the store front that there is more seating in the interior but you do have the option to sit indoors.The coffee is great with the option to try the single origin of the day if you wish. Whilst the food is great I thought they were pretty standard dishes - I was a bit disappointed to find out the Salmon Benedict was not smoked but a sizable portion of cooked salmon which made it rather salty. Combined with the english muffin it was on, the dish was a bit dense. The service was a bit lacking with the staff forgetting about glasses or menus, however they did ask if we wanted them to sit us inside when outdoors got a bit cold. I wouldn't jump at the chance to go here again but I'd probably revisit every now and then to try other dishes."

"We had lunch with friends and all enjoyed our meals. The layout is great with open kitchen at one end, outdoor tables and friendly staff. The menu is written up on the wall fronting the kitchen and offers good variety. Great atmosphere and food experience."

"As a Surry Hills local, I popped in to Gnome this morning for a coffee.Given it's Surry Hills, I usually expect some level of fun loving sass but John who served me seemed to be in a particularly bad mood and ended up throwing my change across the counter towards me. Not in a fun loving manner at all.<br>
Further to this, I had ordered an iced long black. The coffee was weak and there was no ice.<br>
Safe to say I won't be returning."

"As regulars at Sticky Fingers for weekend brekkie or lunch, we can highly recommend this great little restaurant in Pelican Street. The staff are always attentive and friendly and the food is consistently good. Great coffee too. With regular changes to the menu, you can...always find something new to try. "Modern Asian menu with a great selection of mains and desserts. After hearing about this place through friends, it was time to try it. I'm glad the food met my expectations and more. There's room for improvement to the fitout and atmosphere though... and the waitresses took their time to take the ordere. Overall, i tried the Ogre Happy meal and found it very inventive. Definitely worth a visit."
