"This was my first time having dinner here and it was simply amazing! I elected to have the prime rib and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection! For sides I had mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes definitely get an A and the mac and cheese was just okay for me, definitely could have used more cheese. Had a couple old fashions from the bar and they were both phenomenal and I can't leave this review without giving props to our fabulous server Courtney (sp). One of the best customer service experiences I have had at a restaurant in quite some time. The server in conjunction with the food definitely secured me coming back in the future when I'm in Birmingham."

"If I could only give 10 stars! Not only is the food delicious we had the Carolina bbq-plentiful, delicious and seasoned to perfection with tasty collard greens and a huge generously loaded baked potato) but the service from Tamara was friendly, attentive just amazing. On top of it all we left a windbreaker and James the manager took the extra time and effort to mail it to us. Well run and managed. Thanks for everything!"

"It was my first time to eat here. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The peach tea and cheddar biscuits were so delicious. I enjoyed cleanliness and how friendly the building was. It doesn't even feel like on the South Side. It's so well hidden among everything else around her. If you're inside, you're not disturbed by things going outside. We loved the bbq and the kids options. Chili-Käsefries were a hit for my 4 years old."

"Just PERFECTION! At Savage 's Bakery I feel like when I'm back in time to an old fashion bakery where the staff is still so friendly and the goodies are all fresh and are certainly for dying! I live 70 miles away, but I'm going to make the long drive to Savage 's often because I can't find any other bakery than Savage 's, who still have a real competition four... and their are deelish! You make any kind of biscuits, cakes, muffin, bread and pastries you can imagine and more. Try their authentic fours, cheese straw and French pastries. I just love this place!"
