"This is my favorite breakfast in Galveston! Everyone who works there is always so happy and friendly. We love to sit outside when the weather permits, otherwise we sit inside and enjoy it just as much. You also have a case with many pastries, we could not resist buying a few before we left, we got a blueberry muffin and an almond croissant, both were fresh and delicious. My husband ordered the small breakfast, although it is not called, it is still a lot of food and very filling! I had a Belgian waffle with fresh berries, it was perfect. They did not sneak on the berries that were very appreciated, and it also had fresh whipped cream. I enjoyed every bite, especially with the 100% maple syrup."

"You have to try this place! The owner is such a nice and accommodating person. The coffee is good, the selection is good, and I'm sure the food is also. You can get breakfast tacos (they're as big as burritos), muffins, fresh fruit, and kolaches. For lunch she offers a wide selection of Cambodian dishes that look delicious. While you're there, sit back and enjoy the music. You'll hear a little Sinatra, Sam Cook, modern classical, and other relaxing tunes. I highly recommend locals and travelers alike stop by."

"My son wanted a big pink donut (as in the simpsons) instead of a birthday cake. we went to our favorite donuts palast to make a special question and they have. big! the donut was delicious, pink and big! I have been here for over 20 years! friendly faces, great customer service and delicious donuts. best donuts on the island. kolaches, burritos, cakes/filled/cooked donuts and many drinks selection. keep them galveston local!"

"From the moment I went to the lobby, I was in awe. It is full of fun and energy with the bar and restaurant all over there. Live music of piano and standing bass. Enjoy the bar before our dinner. Dinner was great. Had the Prime Rib Special. Great meal and maize bread muffins were for skurril to die! I also enjoyed the hot tub. It was February, so pool too cool for me. My only problem would be a family that allows her babies to use the hot tub as a swimming pool. They had no swimming diapers and pulled babies regular diapers. Pull back their swimsuits and put them back into the hot tub. This should be monitored more by hotel staff. Our room was great. Comfortable bed and beautiful views of the hotel and the coast."
