"This is my first time in kent ct, wanted a quick bite to eat and stumble on sophie’s. When I came in, I greeted the staff and made me welcome. the display cases in which full of delicious baked goods and the covers themselves were extremely clean as well as the table area as well. I tried a vegan banan bread and a bananenbrot chocolate chip muffin that both were excellent. I also ordered a coffee that first came cold, but the facility replaced my coffee without charge and asked no questions, apologized for it. many thanks to the employees, olivia and ivan for my first experience here, a great one."

"Seems like they are still working out the kinks on a renovation staff turnover (just a guess), but overall the place seems solid. Friendly staff (only slightly awkward, probably less so than average in Seattle), nice ambiance (always a fan of coffee shop fireplaces and enormous clocks), and most importantly to me personally: good cold brew. Apparently they have a happy hour from 3:00-6:00, though I'm not quite sure what that entails. I'd recommend this place over Starbucks, hence the 5 stars."

"A simple breakfast at lunch place. Attentive service, a decent salad. A reasonable ruben. What more can you want? A good place if you're eating in a hurry. Vegetarian options: I asked them if they could give me the Caesar salad with tuna fish instead of chicken and they were happy to do that. Parking: Street outside is free. Parking in there are lots all around. On a touristy weekend, you might find it difficult to get a space right in front of the place, but there are parking lots nearby. All of the parking within blocks is free. "The “smokestack sandwich” did not disappoint! Lots of flavor and spice without being too spicy. Great combo with the fries and Coleslaw. Some of the best coleslaw I’ve ever had! Will definitely come back again. The free soft serve ice cream is a great treat at the end"

"I ordered the He-Man breakfast. My partner ordered the Ham Steak. I was underwhelmed, the food came to us cold and it was just dirty. The Hamsteaks were really good, but everything else seemed pretty busy. The servers also took food outside on plates, not sure where they go, but they would go back to the store and continue working without washing their hands. The evaluation on the window said good."
