"Not fancy, food comes up from the basement kitchen in aluminum takeout containers. But the eggs were cooked as I liked. The potato’s were great and it’s all vegetarian the all the time special is $6.50 (pictured, eggs, home fries and toast plus coffee or tea). Cheap for Manhattan. Hot chocolate comes unsweetened which is good for me because it’s usually way to sweet for me. Sugar in the raw is available. I’m coming back."

"My new favorite spot. Angel was really dope and welcoming. So peaceful. So many coffee shops have tons of traffic going in and out and the music is loud. I felt instant peace when I walked in and the pastries are so good."

"Wanted to visit a McD on my trip to the States. Really disappointing. Food is exactly the same (absolutely expected) but the atmosphere and service was not good. The restaurants need a bit of a face lift."

"Nice place, good quiet vibe at 8pm on a Tuesday when I went. Some of the worst fish and chips I 've ever had—the first word that comes to mind is 'chewy '—but they had a NA beer (Sam Adams hazy IPA knockoff) and besides the food it was nice."

"The Chicken Corn Chowder was phenomenal and the Chocolate Fudge Cake also great!! Will definitely order these two again. The taquitos were also pretty good and would order again. Corn bread very dry and had to add about 1-1.5 tablespoons of melted butter (this is a lot) to each tiny muffin just them to be not crumbly-dry. Half chicken is not very good. Not seasoned, skin not crispy, not moist. The potato skins are not potato skins. They are sliced flat whole potatoes. They were fine nothing special but would not have ordered if I knew they were not actually potato skins. Bacon was good. The mac n cheese is not great either. Similar to a KFC mac n cheese but with a thinner cheese sauce. Not any taste to the cheese. Food arrives hot and packaged well always!"

"Listen…. This place has some charm! The owner and the wait staff are excellent and extremely pleasant, and maybe it was just really good because it came at the end of a long day, but as someone who currently lives in the south… They’re fried chicken with country gravy and mashed potatoes was amazing. In fact, everything we had was amazing. I even got an old-fashioned egg cream that was to die for… if you like that sort of thing, that is. And I did! Definitely worth it… Go when you get a chance. another A+ for them being multi-lingual and being able to talk to my group in several languages! They’re there to accommodate and were one of my favorite places to eat during our visit to NYC."
