"Walked down to this restaurant from our hotel on our first day in Quebec. Got seated promptly, and were asked almost immediately what we would like to drink. Drinks came out not even two minutes later. Sipped our drinks, sipped some more and some more. During this whole time we saw waitresses walk past by, refilling coffee cups of other restaurant patrons but passing by our table as if it was empty. Almost 20 minutes later, we finally decided to call one of the waitresses and told her we were ready to order. I pointed at the item I wanted on the menu, forgetting there were choices I had to choose. She simply said to me You have to say what you want , which is fine but very direct and sounded really cold. At first I thought her English was not that good, but later on as I settled the bill I realized it was just fine. She could have been a bit more friendly, like perhaps saying something like would you like that with two eggs or three . That waitress remained cold and unfriendly when taking our orders maybe we caught her at the wrong time? Her demeanor was better, and she became more friendly as time progressed. The crepes were excellent. We had crepes in one other restaurant two days later, but Au Petit Coin Breton 's were easily the winner. We both cleaned our plates. That same waitress seemed genuinely happy to see that we finished our food. The toasts that came with one of our breakfast were also one of the best we had had. They were thick, almost the thickness of texas garlic bread here in the US. Will definately go back for their crepes!"

"I've been coming here for years, and while it has changed hands, it seems to have really improved. We were a party of eight and everyone was happy with their meals. Portions are generous, everything tastes fresh or freshly prepared, and the best part was friendly and attentive service. We'll definitely be back!"

"Whenever we travel outside of the United States, we always seek the local McDonald's restaurant for reasonably priced food. Even in Quebec City, there is a Mickey D's place where you can order a Big Mac or a Quarterpounder and cheese. In Germany, you can order a beer, but not in Quebec City's McDonald's."
