"We were I town for a 3 day convention and having follower the previous chef owner Danny St.Pierre, it was a perfect time to try it out as it was also our 34th wedding anniversary. We had a 6:15 reservation...perfect, as the later evening crowd had not arrived so, it was quiet. We were seated by the window with view on the terrace.From start to finish we were served by the very attentive and professional Alexandre. We started out with cocktails a microbrewery lager for hubby and a Manhattan...a little on the bourbon side, just the way I like it! We decided to try the famous poutine inversee which was fun!!! We both picked the pork tenderloin. Our entree was the petales de tomates glaceesfor me and a beet salad with local goat cheese and green grapes both delicious.our pork was very good albeit slightly overdone for our taste and my hubby felt the sauce was a bit too bitter but, again a matter of personal taste! We chose a Cote du Rhone Clos De La Mure which complemented our meal perfectly! Too full for desert, we brought back to our hotel the delicious cheesecake and chocolate tart with popcorn!! They packaged it the same as if leaving a pastry shop. As a little surprise, a white chocolate mousse with sparkler for our special day...we shared...delish! The restaurant's ambiance was relaxed, very nice decor and enjoyable chill lounge music in the background. Our meal came out to 164.00 + tip of a well deserved 20%. We heartily recommend this gem in the heart of beautiful downtown Sherbrooke."

"We have meals and coffee at Tim Hortons restaurants regularly when travelling around Canada or the USA. Prior to this particular outlet, our experiences with Tim Hortons have been terrific. Staff are usually friendly, and food and coffee good. We went to this Tim Hortons at lunchtime and it was packed with people. This was not an issue with us as, often, crowded restaurants are the better ones. On this occasion, the food was below par when compared to the usual Tim Hortons standard. But this did not bother us too much either. However what really fazed and disappointed us was the cutlery which was unclean. They appeared partially washed only (if washed at all) with remains of suds, milky liquid and remains of food on them. The whole lot was the same. Quite disconcerting. We attempted to seek assistance from staff but they were overwhelmed with the lunchtime crowd. Unsuccessful in gaining assistance, we simply finished our coffee, threw the food away and left. I would like to think that our experience is not a typical occurrence at this outlet or, for that matter, any Tim Hortons. But I can only report our experience truthfully. "Decent, sprawling café good for reading working, studying . The coffee is great though, and the pastries are decent. Haven't tried lunch options. Ambiance and decor is retro and pretty nice if you love Edison bulbs. They have lots of non-dairy milk options and a few vegan food items as well,including great muffins."
