"This beautiful little café in heart of Shropshire countryside is very inviting. Staff can't do enough for you. Lots of antiquities and used books to browse through or spend a few pence on. Delicious lunches followed by home made cakes tarts. Well worth a visit even if you aren't on a hike. Plenty of parking space for car, bike or motorbike. For evening meals you have to pre-book in advance by phone. Oh yes, they also welcome dogs at outside tables with a bowl of water.......nice touch!"

"Just returned from a one night stay here for our wedding anniversary. It's a lovely quirky place with friendly staff. Evening meal was very nice although breakfast was a little greasy. The only thing that could have been improved was the heating our room was very cold and although radiator on max it wasn't on and when I asked if heating could be put on the lady said she would sort it but it still never come on. I was a little disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working either as this was one of the main features that I chose this place. A relaxing overnight stay with beautiful views."

"I popped into Morrisons in Shrewsbury today as I wanted to buy another storage bench, I approached a member of staff who I presume was the manager? I just want to say he went above and beyond to find me a storage bench, at first he thought there was none left, so checked their warehouse and was even going to check other stores for me, but in the end one was found in the store. I just want to say thank you so much for all your help today, you went to so much trouble so that I could buy my storage bench, this gentleman is an absolute credit to Morrisons. If you are the stores manager they are lucky to have you. I really hope you get to read this review."

"Good delicious food and well sorted portions. it is a little on the pricy side for a caffe to lunch, but eating is delicious enough, I think it makes for it! I had garnished the tempura that I cannot recommend enough! the food came fast and the atmosphere is beautiful. will be back next time, I am in ludlow!"

"During a long walk I came across the Weir in the River Severn, Castlefields, Shrewsbury. This is a great location watching the salmon jump upstream etc. Then I saw Polly's Kitchen it overlooks the weir. Brand spanking new, really great location next to an animal farm. Lovely food on offer, but I just had a drink of proper tea! Two lovely friendly staff/owner! This deserves to do well I am sure it is going to be very popular when people discover it. Disability access and great for children so much to see!"
