"This is a fantastic jewel in Acadia, not to be missed. We cannot remember eating a better meal in ages. There is nothing on the menu that is an afterthought. Maureen is deliberate in making sure each dish is prepared with skill and the flavor profiles were dead on. A basic salad was anything but. Local treasure Beech Hill Farm provides the foundation for a lot of the produce and then Maureen takes it next level. The tuna melts in your mouth. Our group had the chicken (excellent), halibut (a thick steak that is delicate and delicious) and the gnocchi was so good my husband shed a tear when it was done (ok, sort of kidding. But he was still talking about it a few days after). The desserts are no joke so do NOT pass. Go for the brulee, the chocolate mousse (outstanding and I don't even like chocolate or mousse), and the ginger chocolate cake if they are on the menu. If they aren't then just trust them and get whatever they recommend. I swear nothing will be a mistake. We will be back this is the kind of place you should go out of your way to visit."

"Went on a tip from a friend (a local! who said they had the best coffee around wasn?t disappointed. More of a selling point for me was the pastries a large gluten free selection: lemon scope and blueberry muffin pictured. Lots of gluten free pastries! That said, neither were particularly good bordering on ?bad? but I?m easy to please, so the effort alone gets a 5 star."

"Food is good, costumer service is good. A little too busy but that also means good for them. The tuna melt was way too overloaded with tuna but overall good. The lemonade tasted like water and lemon. Maybe you're supposed to add your own sugar which I did."
