"Just wanted to share the experience I just had at Flings Fried ChickenFor some reason I had a huge craving for their taters I haven't been there since I was in grade school. So I decided before work to go grab my mom and family some food . Of course i forgot my wallet and it's a 60+ dollar order. I panicked , asked if he accepted e-transfer .. anything I live in Tecumseh so going home and grabbing my wallet and making it back on time for work in 30 mins was just not an option .. I went back to my car to call my mom to have her come meet us and the owner came out to offer me to take the food with the promise I would come back .. someone who's never met me, just recognize that obviously I was stressing out and having my 3-year-old daughter with me. I talked to him briefly about business and how he recently took over from the previous owner of 30+ years, We talked about being parents and how 2-3 year olds are so much fun lol. He asked me to leave a review... I thought maybe by posting this we could get him some new business or anyone else who'd like to leave him a positive review.I'm so humbled at his generosity and kindness"

"This is my first time coming here, someone recommend me this place and said it was friendly. Though it got ruined when the cashier was rude to my friend, he had a bad attitude. and the desserts are disgusting. never plan on coming back"

"Went for brunch yesterday, we sat in the laneway they have tables which are perfect. Food was outstanding and prices very reasonable. We did have to wait 45 for our food to come as they said they were backed up. Would not have stayed if we knew in advance. Not sure if the whole restaurant industry is suffering due to lack of staff."

"This place is great if you're simply looking for a great place to get breakfast or lunch. Had the omelet and it was fantastic. Portions are big too. The wait for the food was a little long but at least you know that the food is being made fresh. Be careful coming into the parking lot because the concrete is raised and can damage the front/bottom of your vehicle if you're going too fast."

"A great neighbourhood, "hole in the wall" type place with very friendly service, great food at very good prices. Lots of options for breakfast, I recommend the Hungry Man. Also, they have to have one of the best club house sandwiches in town. Love the Montreal smoked meat too.I also like that I can call ahead and they will have my order ready for pick up.Thanks to Mike and everyone at Baker's."

"As a born and raised Windsorite who now lives out of the city, I always enjoy coming home to familiar and cozy spots like Taloola. I have no issue with the food or price. Overall quality is pretty good! The one thing I can’t get over is the general tone of the service I consistently see. For example, my visit on June 17/2022 with some of the staff, it’s like their serving you in an inconvenience or a burden. This is certainly not all the staff but was true of the 2 people who helped me during my otherwise lovely visit. I just can’t shake this observation and I wish it were different. I find there are so many Windsor spots who we all frequent because there limited options but we tolerate mediocre service. We all with that would be different. I’ll continue to visit Taloola to support this lovely local business."

"I had not noticed this café for years but after stumbling across it, I have been many times since. The vibe is very clean and chilled out. The cheesecake and brownies are incredible! The soup and hot drinks and delicious as well. The staff are...always happy to help you out. If you go, you'll be hooked. The hours aren't very late but it's worth it while it's open."
