"We are from California stopped to try some bbq and it was great! Service was great .. very friendly staff. The manager also greeted us asked if we had been there before assisted us with ordering our drinks and meal. We will definitely go back next time we are in Tucson."

"We ate here when Prelude opened. The service was confused and slow, the food was sub par. Tonight (two years later) was 1000% better. We liked it very much. Service was responsive, pleasant, efficient, without lubricating. The food was also very good when it was seasoned, in my opinion. My wife had the (under dressed but good) mixed salad with strawberries, and fascinating and pretty beautiful pairing. Her duck was Halibut, which was a bit overcooked, but with beautiful grill marks. Their accompanying potatoes were very good. I started with a spring plant soup that was very good when something was under taste. It was different spring plant pure, so it had the look and the mouth feeling of the divided pea soup, very velvety. It was dressed with a parsley leaf and fresh from cream when, again, something under seasoned. The flavors would have been plastered, but not. Another pleasant starter. My duck was a Rib Eye Steak. I asked about medium and got medium rare, not boiled enough to send back, but not what I wanted. The steak was also under season. Perhaps this is useful, so the Gönners can add salt and/or pepper, but it should not be (unless you cook in a hospital), in my opinion. The accompaniments were split, fingering potatoes nicely roasted or fried, and framed spinach, good but again lacks a lot of taste, and a small portion of crab meat a beautiful dish of food that could be an exceptional, more attention to seasoning. We skipped Dessert, but we had coffee, which was very good. We will definitely return, because Prelude approaches its potential as a first-class restaurant, and we will hope that the improvement of service and food will continue. The influence of a former restaurant operator with deep experience in the company makes a great difference in the quality of the prelude dining experience. His charges should be careful."
