"Will start out by saying that I think there was some building maintenance being done, and either employee training, or some type of group holding a smaller meeting (after we showed up) that may have contributed to our experience. Overall food was decent and felt priced ok (had the breakfast plate, waffle was AMAZING, eggs and goetta were just "ok Service was pretty slow, at least at first. Again, could have been whatever was going on contributing. Got better towards end! The downside however was the seating, TERRIBLE! When the host first took us to our table, we saw the uncomfortable, tall, narrow metal chairs without backs, or at least foot rests to balance, and asked to be seated at a regular table or booth (I have back problems and am not over tall, so these seats aren't meant for me lol). He said there weren't other types of seating available and provided no alternatives, just waited for us to sit or leave basically. There were booths open, and there were other lower tables open that people were seated at soon after us, so I'm not sure what was up. I shifted around as much as I could to try to get comfortable, but just spent most of the time we were there standing because the seats were so uncomfortable to me. We rolled with it and didn't complain (until now I guess haha). We had reservations btw through open table, so we weren't just walk ins. Had seating been more comfortable, this would have been a MUCH nicer experience and we probably would have ordered more drinks. I couldn't wait to leave, unfortunately"

"The Short: Food is unique and some of it is tasty. Service was horrible. Prices are fairly high. The Long: They gave us the wrong menu at first and wasted our time and then continued to not give us silverware or straws even after we asked. I had to get up and go grab silverware off of the other table. Also, the waiter never came back to our table to check on us or give us refills. My wife can’t have alcohol due to medical issues and they didn’t tell us that the waffle had bourbon in it. To add to all of this the waiter asked if my wife wanted chicken on her $7 salad and the chicken was almost as much as the salad $6.50) and we had no clue. However, the Kentucky Brown was amazing and worth the rather steep price."
