"With no reservation, the staff got us seated quickly despite being busy. The food was fantastic. I had the schupfnudeln with mushrooms and bacon. It had cheese (likely gruyere) melted on top. My wife had the tagliatelle with fried prawns. Both dishes were great. Very happy that we decided to try this place out."

"The breakfast was in itself very tasty, but outside you could not enjoy it, as you had 5 wasps on your plate wandering around on 4 August). All guests were tensed and hoped that they will not be stabbed, here a puppy bait might be quite appropriate to keep the animals away from the guests. On demand, a waitress was, fortunately, so kind to clear us a place inside, then it went back to 1-2 wasps, who also looked over there. Pricely you can't complain, we ordered four of them the dream breakfast for 9,80€ and have been well fed and had a delicious hot drink as well as a dessert. Breakfast at Böckeler is recommended, however, if you are afraid of wasps or even allergies, you should look for a place in the interior or look past another season."

"I was looking for a swim in baths and discovered the plumbing pots by infestation. the garden is beautiful with view into the Rhine plain. as it became cooler in the evening, we went inside after the appetizer. the dining room is very cozy and stylishly decorated. the food was super tasty...I had calfsmedaillons with late zle, pfifferlingen and cream sauce. the wine card is extensive and offers bath and Italian wines. we chose a riesling that is cultivated next to the restaurant (five woods).I will come again at the next visit in the opposite."
