"Stopped in for a sandwich at lunch. This is my third visit to the restaurant, although now it is called "Italian Eatery". Probably a good idea to rebrand so people can better associate what to expect inside.The restaurant is still reasonably new, so everything is clean. Decorated well and has a pleasant atmosphere. Daily specials on the board, but I opted for a veal. This is the second time I've tried the veal, so I think I have a pretty good handle on what's happening here. The sandwich was ok, but could easily be better. Here's how:1) This is veal, so the name of the game is saucy and messy. Don't try to make it pretty, just juice it up.2) Thinner veal cutlets, more layers. 'Nuff said.3) Use fresh mushrooms - only fresh. Canners have a funny taste and interfere with the taste of the veal.4) The kaiser bun was fresh ... nice ... keep it up. The service was friendly and quick, because it wasn't busy at the time, but nothing to complain about here. Overall the place is good, but not great. But it could be ... so close ... it really could be great. Just need to tweak things a little and this place would rock. But the sandwiches need to be ooey and gooey with italian deliciousness oozing with every bite - think California Sandwiches in the city. We totally need an Italian sandwich and eatery in the south end. This is a great location with plenty of parking and easily accessible. I sincerely hope this place pulls through.3/5"

"Although we went for food as well as for drinking, we decided to get only drinks as we had a family dinner to go later. we got the slider caesares and wow they were fantastic. they took the simple Caesar drink and added the extreme buzz and huge pickel on the spits with a signed handmade slider burger above. we will be sure to be back and also try their poutins. also the service was great and the server were super friendly."

"Andy's Place is located in an industrial plaza, walking distance from the Barrie Best Western hotel. Standard basic breakfast / lunch diner menu. (Lunch menu does include a couple of souvlaki choices ... pork / chicken souvlaki with rice and Greek salad, $12.99 / $13.99 respectively... the most expensive items on the menu.) Basic but clean dining ambiance (tables only, no booths.) I dropped in for an early breakfast. The polite waitress on duty was also the cook. She made a really good "loaded" omelette.. onion, ham, mushrooms, tomato, green peppers, celery and cheese... $10.99 including toast and really good home fries. Coffee was at best OK, not memorable. Overall... not a "must go to" restaurant; a good basic breakfast lunch diner with reasonable prices. Additional note for those so inclined... LLBO licensed for beer and coolers; very limited choices."

"A great place to grab a quick and healthy lunch. Ingredients are always fresh and tasty! The staff when I was there were knowledgeable when I had a question about a specific already made type wrap with set ingredients, but I was able to modify...my order with no issues."

"This was our first visit to Urban Dish. We snagged a same-day reservation. Boy am I glad we did! The service is exemplary, and the food is a delicious adventure.Cathy is possibly the best server we've ever had. She shared an enthusiasm for the dishes and drinks which helped make the meal seem festive. We were never rushed. Courses and drinks arrived with perfect timing, a pleasant smile and unobtrusive banter.We were seated in the small room where the bar is. I would definitely choose that room again. We got to watch some amazing creations being made at the bar. Though it is billed as a wine bar, I look forward to retruning to try a cocktail. The patio looks nice too. They have their own garden and have done a good job of screening out the Yonge St. traffic. Once you're engaged in the experience, you won't be bothered by the DQ parade.So many wonderful flavours! Don't be alarmed by some of the ingredient combinations. This cuisine is deftly executed, unique and delicious."

"Took my kids here when we were shopping and it was unfortunate. The rice was mushy and soaked in soy sauce. The rest of the food seemed to be slopped on top. "I went here for lunch on business with a friend. We were limited on time, and it was noted by the owner. The soup was fresh and hot, the fresh fish of the day was plentiful and tasty. The restaurant is very clean, and was very busy."

"Kind is is my favorite place to pick up a quick Italian lunch. Pasta, lasagna and sandwiches are all wonderful. I've never had the Pizza Hut hear it is great as well"
