"This restaurant was a pleasant surprise after eating at the Romer Burg the previous night. It was recommended by a competitor who said it was the best Italian restaurant in Boppard. I had the cannelloni while the SO had a LARGE salad. Cannelloni was baked...while the salad consisted of iceberg lettuce (surprise), tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms, and artichokes with no dressing.. The waiter was hard to understand but it all worked out for the better. Total price including half liters of Bitburg beer was only Euros. I could hardly manage to get up from the chair. We went for a walk along the riverfront (still in the mid seventies PM and retired to the hotel room to pack for our exit the next morning. I would heartily recommend this restaurant."

"Travelling back with my son from a business trip in southern Germany we stopped over in Boppard and found the Romerburg. We had a great laugh with the landlord and took his recommendation and enjoyed one of day's "specials" of pork loin steak with a Spanish bean salad and a side order of chanterelle mushrooms delicately fried with garlic and white wine, delicious! The service was fast and attentive and we would definitely go back."
