"“ Gaura dulce” or the sweet holl, maybe the sweatest in Brasov. One of the best choices if you want to try neo traditional romanian cuisine. I heard about them from my romanian friends, i tryed their diches in my holyday and the result was OUTSTANDING! "Difficult to understand the menu as it is not in English. Pizza had quite a thick base and it had only been threatened with tomato sauce so it ended up being like cheese on very thick undercooked toast. There were no herbs or seasoning on...it and no condiments on the tables; it was extremely bland. Once our plates had been cleared no one came near us for a very long time. We weren\'t offered dessert or more drinks and it was a while before we could catch someone\'s attention for the bill. Won\'t be returning."

"Rustic/traditional Romanian vibe in a converted cellar. Service was on point, attentive but not overbearing. The menu is Romanian/European and the prices are reasonable. The complimentary starter deep fried pork fat with streaks of meat and raw red onion might not be for...the faint hearted or the vegetarian among us, but sure was delicious! So were all the other dishes. My only regret: being too full to even attempt dessert. Maybe next time!"

"I'm spoiled perhaps but cannot help but compare the Chateaubrienn with Béarnaise for 2 with the same dish we enjoyed at El Gaucho in Portland Oregon very recently. Although done to perfection the Keller version was very chewy and had much less flavor. Ditto for the sauce. I can recommend neither.However, the goulash is very good as are the sautéed mushrooms. Not so for the mixed vegetable sauté of primarily green peppers and zucchini, skip that one. Service was impeccable."
