"This morning my wife at the riverbend cafe bulimba considered coffee before taking part in a function at hmas moreton. while we wait for coffee, we noticed how great the food looked so decided to return after a meal later on tomorrow. we are very happy. the food was fabulous. my wife had the smashed avo and I had the breakfast stack. both were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. they were just the best breakfast I had everywhere. we would not come to bulimba very often, as we live in nsw. but we occasionally have to go back to taste the food in the riverbend cafe. well done to all."

"We tried Pepperoni the first time today. We ordered Meat Fiesta & Marinara Seafood Pasta. Kids loved the pizza esp the cheese. Would be better if the pepperoni were not so burnt but thats what you got in a wood fired pizza. Marinara Seafood was really good as well, not too heavy. The tomato sauce in the pasta was yummy! Will go back to try other items in menu!"

"Can't comment on the food. By the time I have tried the beers on tap I am quite full. Maybe next time. The verandah outside makes for a good location with friends that appreciate a beer or two with a relaxed view. Good rotating beer selection as well."

"Had that huh, the braut, and the pancake and enjoyed it. there were many delicate chicken lumps, and the baked was excellent flaky on the top and not overly greasy on the bottom as on some other cakes. I wish there had been something more best, but overall a very decent cake. friendly service. keen to regain and try their other fillings!"

"Don’t get me wrong this place has the best garlic mushroom and homemade bean side I’ve ever had but it’s still a complete and utter rip off. Was pretty disappointed when I ordered Uber eats and got the roast tomato side because the picture showed goats cheese and that really sold me. The tomatoes I got were just four cooked tomatoes that I paid $5 for : As you can see from the photos the other sides are very small too and the beans are $6 in a tiny little container."

"Staff and management at this establishment were not supportive. They provided poor service by ignoring my requests placed with the frontline staff, proceeded to order, which resulted in a $15 dollar loss. When asked for reimbursement, I was told no, nothing they can do. Very little care was taken as far as shop/client safety was concerned. A water bucket full of dirty water was left unattended on the floor right in front of the till where you pay. This resulted in a major spill all over my feet and floor. No assistance was offered or provided to rectify the matter or clean my soaked shoes. When management was approached for resolution, service was poor with little provided to resolve the complaint. I was told to look on the internet for a number when I asked owners details, which they refused. I will not visit again!"

"This is hard because this cafe is a nice place with nice staff, a pleasant and cheery spot to grab a coffee and features cute and quirky vintage decor eclectically thrown together with the right dose of character. Unfortunately, it is clear this establishment is not run by people with culinary expertise. Sure the lunch menu was very basic, but it is possible to do basic well. As there were chalk board signs advertising "home made" specials, I figured I couldn't go wrong with a quiche Lorraine and side salad, envisaging handmade fluffy quiche with puff pastry. Surely if the words "all time favourite" is the description, it must be good quiche! I was wrong in that assumption. To my dismay, the actual quiche I got conformed suspiciously to the symmetrical, regular shaped and compact dimensions of a factory made, processed quiche with no textural variation whatsoever. Suspicions confirmed, it was horrible, fake and tasted like it was a week old -...
