"I will hand it to them, the food is quite good. So good in fact that I order from them quite often on Uber Eats, despite the fact that they frequently forget parts of my order. Well yesterday I ordered the lamb curry with rice...and naan, 2 cokes and an order of gulab jamuns. I received only what was to be the lamb curry, rice naan (no cokes and no gulab jamuns). I called and let them know that part of my order was missing and they agreed to add it for free the next time I ordered. No problem. That's reasonable. Then, I opened the lamb curry and found that it was beef and not lamb (not the same price point at all). It wasn't the first time they sent me beef curry and tried to pass it off as lamb. The other times (2), I chalked it up to a mistake, as I had rather large orders. This time, I was missing half my items and was sent beef instead of lamb. I called them again to sort it out. The same woman who initially answered the phone spoke with me and was super calm and helpful. She then passed the phone to the owner who was absolutely beyond rude and condescending. He didn't even apologize for the missing items. He started yelling at me over the phone saying I chose boneless lamb curry (when there is no such option on their Uber Eats menu). I then told him that I would have my husband bring back the food to show him that it was beef. He refused for my husband to go, and said that I had to be the one to come because he would not speak with my husband. My husband went anyway. He took all the food back with him and the owner refused to even look at it. My husband then asked for our money back as there was nothing else that could be done (they were unwilling to even consider that it was a mistake). The owner then got very confrontational and got in my husband's face. One of the other employees told the owner to go in the back and took care of the refund. It's sad that they were willing to lose a loyal patron instead of just trying to mend the order. I understand that restaurants are suffering and I'm not an unreasonable person. I didn't initially at all want my money back. I just wanted the order to be rectified and I was willing to drive there for them to do it. However, the owner has proven to me that he will not take ownership for the restaurants mistakes. He had no problem taking my money and not fulfilling the order but was very upset when I pointed this out. I won't be back and I will spread the word. This was an opportunity to provide good customer service and sadly, they missed the mark."

"Went to serenata and really enjoyed it. The food was great quality and good portions. Loved the rack of lamb with rosemary sauce and the spicy oil was delicious and not overpowering. The mussels were good as well. The ambiance is great especially due to the accordion and guitar player. Would return."
