"We were visiting Edinburgh from the USA and were very impressed! Don't be deterred by the one or two negative reviews below...this place is lovely. It's welcoming, warm, and cozy. It also had the best espresso out of all the spots we tried in Edinburgh...which is saying a lot because good coffee in the UK is hard to find, in our experience. The food is delicious and you can tell it's made with love. Finally, you must try their Victorian Sponge Cake.....it was AMAZING."

"Very good food (we tried fish n chips and bacon burger), and very very nice people. We went there 4 times during our week in Edinburgh, and on the last time, we arrived just before closing time and they allowed us to stay there to eat our food, half an hour into the closing time! Thank you guys, thank you so much! Did I already mention that the fish n chips was terrific?!"
